In today’s session, we enter the realm of open-monitoring meditation, a core practice of the Vipassana tradition. Instead of focusing on a single object, we observe the entire field of mental activity — calmly and without judgment.
Thoughts will arise — memories, commentary, distractions. Don’t engage. Don’t resist. Simply observe them come and go, like clouds drifting through the sky.
The key is to recognize: You are not your thoughts. You are the silent witness behind them — spacious, steady, and serene.
